This is the whole thing. It is short because the honest version is short.

CellarMinder is a personal project. It is one household's wine cellar, run by its owner, on his own account. It is not a company, not a product, and not for sale. There is no support desk and no uptime promise.

It is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be wrong. The app reads wine labels with an AI model, and an AI model misreads things — a vintage, a grape, a region. The app tries hard to say "I don't know" rather than guess, but it will still be wrong sometimes. Do not rely on it for anything that matters: not for what a wine is worth, not for what it cost, not for whether it is safe to drink. It is a notebook, not an authority.

The owner can delete any of it, at any time, for any reason. Including all of it, including yours. There is no export guarantee and no notice period. If a rating you gave matters to you, do not let this be the only place it exists.

Be decent.Rate the wine, not the people. Don't try to break in, don't scrape it, and don't put anything in a tasting note you would not say at the table.

Access is a favour, not a right. The owner decides who is in the household and can unlink an account whenever he likes. A guest who scans a bottle at a party is a guest at a party.

What the app does with what it stores is on the privacy page, and that one is worth reading properly.
